Troy Kalmus, National Sales Director
|My name is Troy Kalmus, and I joined Protos in 2021 as a National Sales Director. I am based in Houston, TX and I hold a Bachelors of Business & Managerial Economics from the University of Houston. I have over 25 years of sales, management, and customer service experience. I have been in the security industry the last 3 years. I am currently a member of ASIS International, the world’s largest association for security professionals. Throughout my career, I have developed, managed and contributed to many successful sales teams while never losing sight of the customer service piece. I have also had many employees promoted under my management. I have managed remote teams across Texas and have also worked remotely with great success. My goal is to become a partner with each customer and put myself in their shoes while truly understanding their needs. I listen to the customer’s requests and have open and honest dialogue on expectations up front. Communication on the front end helps the sales process flow smoothly until the end of the sales cycle. I am dedicated to taking care of the customer’s needs and providing great customer service. I am always available for my customers and take ownership of all their requests. My goal is to not make one sale, but to make a customer for life. When not at work I am mostly found at the baseball fields chasing my two teenage boys who play travel ball. I also enjoy boating, traveling, and catching live concerts.|
