Because your security program deserves flexibility

Hospitals and healthcare facilities are busy centers of activity, with patients, visitors and medical professionals constantly moving throughout the facilities. Ensuring the safety and security of patients, staff and medical records is important in today’s ever-evolving healthcare landscape. A secure environment minimizes the chance of theft, violence and the spread of infectious diseases by preventing unauthorized access.

Protos understands the critical role that security plays in healthcare centers and hospitals. That’s why Protos provides security officers and local, active, off-duty law enforcement who can keep hospitals safe. We can customize a security program specific to your locations and needs. We also empower choice as you have the ability to scale your security program to what’s going on in hospitals. Whether your program is long- or short-term, all Protos clients receive access to our client portal, a dedicated service agent and access to our 24/7 security operations service center.

Increased safety and prevention

Security officers play a crucial role in deterring and preventing potential security threats. This can include violence, theft, or vandalism within hospital premises. Their presence alone acts as a deterrent, making individuals think twice before engaging in illegal or harmful activities.

Access Control and Visitor Management

Security officers enforce access control measures in hospitals, preventing unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas. In addition to monitoring entrances, verifying identity and managing visitors, officers protect patient privacy and maintain the security of sensitive areas. Officers are available to escort individuals to their vehicles during late hours, providing a sense of personal safety support and a safe environment for everyone present within the hospital premises. We match officers’ experience and their culture to the unique protection needs of the situation they will be placed in.

Remote video guarding and cloud-based video surveillance solutions can be paired with physical onsite security to improve your security program. Remote video guarding allows for 24/7 monitoring of hospital premises from a central location. Security professionals can monitor and access surveillance cameras remotely in real-time, detecting and responding quickly to security threats.
