Dialysis center:
After an altercation turned violent, Protos brought in a consultant from
our specialized services. After assessing the situation, the team adjusted staffing from unarmed to armed off-duty law enforcement.
Plasma donation center:
Following the organization’s protocols, a client was not allowed to donate two days in a row. When tempers rose, our staff was able to deescalate the situation, keeping both staff and clients safe without any physical interaction.
Kidney care provider:
A client created a dedicated site for patients who had been removed from other locations after repeated threats or aggression. To keep staff safe and the clinic operational, Protos deployed an off-duty law enforcement officer trained in de-escalation. The officer provided support during opening and closing, monitored the parking area and stepped in when tensions rose,
giving employees the confidence to continue serving a high-risk patient population.
